Jordan Vauvert L'acquisition de l'arme nucléaire a bouleversé la logique de guerre ; on pourra se rassurer en se disant que personne n'osera l'utiliser, il n'empêche qu'on est passé à deux doigts de la catastrophe à plusieurs reprises. C'est cette angoisse qui traverse ESKATON, premier album de Chaos Vector. Son synthwave ne passe jamais par les phases d'hystéries caractéristiques du genre : c'est lent, glacial, calculé et totalement maîtrisé. On est dans l'incertitude d'une menace qui plane. Du grand génie ! Favorite track: PSYBORG.

It's hard to pick a favourite track. This is the only album i have so far deemed as "perfect", where every track, even the intro, is just a masterpiece in its own right. From the hard hitting Perturbator's Theme to the emotional title track, its 68 minutes of perfection. 10/10. connivingkhajiit
